Once a tiny fishing village, Shanghai – the city above the sea – is now a dynamic metropolis. Such magnanimous urbanity has repercussions on preservation. Old inhabitants find it better to sell sometimes, due to skyrocketting prices. In this process, you have the original population moving out and you have a new kind of people moving in.
